The call to prayer was at 5.00am, the thick walls of the surrounding buildings helped to muffle the worst of it and Katie slept through to 8.30, a record! Our little room was so crammed with kit getting oursleves sorted was an epic task, throw giving Katie a shower into the mix and we were busy until about half ten. At first we stayed indoors in our riad becuase of the torrential rain hammering down on the roof but we headed out for a walk after  our breakfast of pancake, bread, orange juice and coffee.
We hoisted Katie into her baby carrier and set off to test her in the Morrocan sun, there wasn't much sun between the cloud but what sun there was was strong. We stopped to test the tea and croisant at one of our old haunts on the edge of the square and took the opertunity to protect Katie from the patchy sun. Katie's suncream slicked her hair into a mess and we walked around with her looking like a punk until we returned to our Riad for a nap. Although the Amour de Riad was nice we hunted down and booked into a Riad we knew from our last trip where the rooms were larger and we would have more chance to organise our equipment for our trip. The rest of the day was spent getting Katie used to the sights and sounds of the city, Katie attracted lots of attention everywhere we walked giving us a taste of what it must be like to be famous. Apart from the hygene worries of travelling with a baby Marakesh has proved most welcoming.
